Notes

The "Concrete Portal" on the cover is still in the brick wall flanking the pavement coming into the Henry Hall courtyard on the walk up from McCarter and the old PJ&B train station.

Other points of interest: I believe that Steve Young arranged "Imagination" as well as soloing on it; East of the Sun was arranged for us by Clark Gesner, then of Triangle fame, since then known for "You're a good man, Charlie Brown"; "Yesterdays" and "Rockin' Boat" were also new arrangements which I think that Steve Young brought to the group. We made the recording in a professional studio, unlike the '58 disc, which was done in an auditorium in Whig-Clio Hall, accounting for the unusual acoustics that always sounded a bit "fuzzy" and soft to me.
